ALBANY, N.Y.--It's a major breakthrough for families of children with autism spectrum disorders, taking away some of the financial burden that the diagnosis brings.
Starting next November, New York will require insurance companies to cover diagnosis and treatment of autism spectrum disorders.
For many families Governor Cuomo's signature on the law means a little bit of an easier road when it comes to being able to provide the treatment their children desperately need.
